Growing up in South Florida, I have always been self conscious about my appearance/weight. I played sports, hung out at the beach and tried to stay current with the sexy clothes trends. However, as I got older it became harder and harder to keep healthy and fit. Lack of sleep, improper diet and an unhealthy lifestyle would cause me to gain 20-25 lbs. over a year or two. I would then do some fad diet or ingest some concoction to loose the weight. This went on from my late 20s through my early 40s. My doctors were concerned about my health because I had high blood pressure and high cholesteral levels.

I met Sabrina through a mutual friend I had know almost 20 years. I always admired her appearance and dedication to a healthy and fit lifestyle until one day when my husband saw her at the gym training another woman. He said, “Sabrina would be perfect as a trainer for you. She is familiar with your lifestyle, she can relate to issues experienced by a woman over 40 and she has the discipline you need.” Sold! It was a done deal.

Fastforward, it has been 78 days of strict dietary intake, strength training, conditioning and guidance from Sabrina and I am proud to say I have lost 20 lbs. I feel healthy, fit and great! Although I have a long way to go, I am excited and ambitious! I would see people I had not seen in years who couldn’t stop complimenting my progress or put on jeans that haven’t fit in over a year. Most importantly, my recent doctor visit should perfect blood pressure and perfect cholesteral levels.

Sabrina has been with me every step of the way as a coach, trainer and friend. She will push me, inquire about my meals/intake, etc. This is what I need! She has become an intregal and crutial part of this work in progress. We train usually 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. She helps me set realistic goals and guides me through everything from eating correctly, a healthy lifestyle and strength and conditioning. I cannot say enough about how Sabrina/SAX Fitness has changed my life. I cannot wait to update you with my progress and photos when I reach my current goals.
